General competence
Define ortheses, prostheses and orthopaedic prostheses and technical aids; organize, schedule and supervise their manufacture and adaptation to the customer, complying and ensuring compliance with the regulatory specifications and in accordance with the appropriate medical prescription.
 
Competence units
1. Administering and managing an orthopaedic prostheses workshop/laboratory.
2. Defining prostheses, orthopaedic prostheses or technical aids in accordance to medical prescription and the anatomic and functional characteristics of the customer.
3. Organizing, scheduling and supervising the manufacture of ortheses, prostheses, orthopaedic prostheses and technical aids.
4. Constructing customized ortheses, prostheses, orthopaedic prostheses and technical aids.
5. Adapting ortheses, prostheses, orthopaedic prostheses and/or technical aids and periodically review them.
